About Us

How much is shipping?

Orders of $65 or more ship free by UPS Ground anywhere in the U.S. Orders under $65 ship UPS Ground for a flat $6.99.

How long will my order take?

We pack and ship most orders within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday). UPS Ground usually takes 2–5 business days in the continental U.S. Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories take longer, and the holidays can add a day or two. You'll get a tracking number by email when your order ships.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Not yet. We only ship to U.S. addresses.

Will my order melt in summer?

It can. We ship year-round, but candles, wax melts, tallow creams and lip balm can soften or melt in a hot delivery truck. Tallow starts to soften around 95°F. Melting doesn't spoil it: set the jar somewhere cool and it firms back up, though whipped products lose some of their fluff.

In summer, ship to an address where packages won't sit in the sun, or choose booth pickup. If anything arrives unusable, email us a photo and we'll replace it or refund you.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Email us as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, we can't change it.

Can I send one order to several addresses?

No. Each order ships to one address, so place a separate order for each recipient.

Can I pick up my order instead of shipping it?

Yes. Choose Pickup at checkout. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, and we'll email you when yours is. Pick it up at our booth at The Artisan Market, Wednesday–Sunday, 10am–4pm.

Where can I shop in person?

Visit us at The Artisan Market, Booth 305, 8793 Tamiami Trl E, Unit 113, Naples, FL 34113. We're there Wednesday–Sunday, 10am–4pm. Holiday markets and pop-ups are listed on our Calendar of Events.

What's your return policy?

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery, opened or unopened, with no restocking fee. You pay the return shipping.

Email rookerybayranch@gmail.com before sending anything back; we can't accept returns that arrive without a request. Once we receive and approve your return, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

Email us your order number and a photo of the damaged item. A photo is required for every damage claim. Once we see it, we'll send a replacement or refund you. There's no need to ship the damaged item back.

Can I exchange an item?

The fastest way is to return the item you have and place a new order for the one you want.

Do you raise your own goats?

No. Our goat's milk soaps start with a goat's milk soap base that we buy. We finish every batch by hand in Naples, adding the scents and extras that make each bar.

What's the difference between Goat's Milk Soap and Handmade Soap?

Goat's Milk Soap bars are made on a goat's milk base and have a creamy, mild lather. Handmade Soap bars are cold-process soaps made from oils and fats such as olive oil, coconut oil or lard, with no goat's milk. Every product page lists the full ingredients.

What's in your soap? Is it sulfate-free?

Every product page lists every ingredient. Our goat's milk base contains sodium coco-sulfate, a coconut-derived cleanser, so we don't call those bars sulfate-free. Our soaps contain no parabens. See What's Actually in Our Soap.

Is your soap good for sensitive skin?

Everyone's skin is different. If yours is sensitive, start with an unscented bar, check the ingredients for anything you react to, and try it on a small area first. More in Soap for Sensitive Skin.

How do I make a bar last longer?

Keep it out of standing water. Use a draining soap dish and let the bar dry between uses. Store spare bars somewhere cool and dry. See How to Store Soap and Candles in Florida Humidity.

What is tallow, and where does yours come from?

Tallow is rendered beef fat. We buy grass-fed beef tallow already rendered, then whip it with nourishing oils in small batches here in Naples. Our Pure Tallow Balm is the exception: one ingredient, grass-fed tallow, nothing added.

Will tallow clog my pores?

Everyone's skin is different. Tallow is rich, so if you're acne-prone or have oily skin, try a thin layer on a small area first and see how your skin responds.

Can tallow treat eczema, psoriasis or acne?

Our tallow products are moisturizers, not treatments, and we don't make medical claims. If you have a skin condition, check with your doctor or dermatologist before trying something new.

How much should I use?

A little goes a long way. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and press it into your skin until it absorbs.

Why is my tallow soft or melted?

Tallow starts to soften around 95°F, so a jar left in a hot car or a summer shipment can arrive soft or melted. Nothing is wrong with it. Set it somewhere cool and it firms back up; whipped products lose some of their fluff but work the same.

Is your tallow skin care vegan?

No. Tallow comes from beef, and our lip balm also contains beeswax.

What are your candles made of?

Our jar candles are hand-poured soy wax with lead-free cotton wicks. Our bottle candles are clear gel wax filled with real shells from Marco Island, Cape Romano and Key Biscayne, or little resin gators, turtles and flamingos. Our wax melts are 100% soy, no paraffin.

How long do your candles burn?

  • 8 oz soy mason jar: 30–35 hours
  • 8 oz soy pineapple and pumpkin jars: about 35–45 hours
  • 6 oz gel bottle candles: 20–25 hours

Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?

It depends on the scent, and every product page says which. Some scents, like lily and pineapple, have no true essential oil, so we use fragrance oil for those. See A Beginner's Guide to Essential Oils.

How do I keep my candle from tunneling?

On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar, about an hour per inch of jar width. Trim the wick to 1/4" before every burn, and don't burn it more than 4 hours at a time. More in How to Care for Your Soy Candle.

How do I use wax melts?

Drop one or two cubes into a wax warmer. When the scent fades, swap in fresh cubes. See Wax Melts vs. Candles.

Can I reuse the jar?

Yes. Once the candle is done, let it cool, then pop out the leftover wax (an hour in the freezer helps) and wash the jar with warm soapy water.

Are candles safe around pets?

Keep any lit candle or wax warmer out of reach of pets and kids, and never leave a flame unattended. If you have questions about a specific scent or oil and your pet, ask your vet.

Do you offer gift sets?

Yes. Browse ready-made sets in Gifts. A build-your-own bundle is coming soon.

How does the rewards program work?

You earn 1 point for every $10 you spend. Sign up and see how to redeem points on our Loyalty Program page.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes, to shops and boutiques, for our candles and body care. Email rookerybayranch@gmail.com with your shop name and location.
